Wait a minute, first you said unemployment would be at 9% in 2012, now you lowered it to 7.5%? LOL Getting a little nervous there aren't you.
I think unemployment will be between 9% and 10% and that will be the final knife in the coffin. He will have had 4 years to create jobs in this country and all he has created are fast food jobs at McDonalds. Sorry kid. Doesn't look good.
I agree.I Cant believe I'm agreeing with Lucrum  Democrats knew Reagan had a dam good shot at taking California ,any republican that has a shot at taking California will have liberals shitting bricks Reagan also took Texas from Ford in the 76 republican primaries ..and Ford was the sitting republican president
Reagan was a joke in 1980. Case closed. I agree with RCG, history has seemed to have elevated both Clinton and Reagan to epic proportions. Hell Bush has seen a 15 pt jump in his approval ratings since leaving office.
It is fun when various breeds of libertarians get to talking. (yeah I know you are liberal right now AK but I can see you drifting towards the center) Ford was a lame duck the minute he took office. Nixon should never have quit. He was turning out to be a decent President. That is why Reagan won. Carter got in because Ford was lame. And he proved just how lame he was over time. Reagan gets in because Carter was lame. But....the "real" GOP did not like Reagan. In fact they hated him. I think Reagan wound up breaking the record for the veto pen. In Reagan's time, they fought him every step of the way on every little thing. The MSM hated him, the blueblood GOP hated him, and the dems...well, no need to comment. Mav pointed out correctly that history has elevated Clinton and Reagan. Consider this. Reagan's most remembered line:" Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" Clinton's most remembered line: "I did not have sex with that woman, Monicka Lewinski" Just sayin
