I'm looking for a list of all components of an ETF. I can find lists with the top 60% or so at places like here: http://www.etfconnect.com/select/fundpages/etf_funds.asp?MFID=50829#Sector and Holdings Summary But how can I find 100% of the makeup of the ETF? TIA, Cash
Click on "Fund Sponsor WebSite". 4 times/year every closed-end fund... Must file a full disclosure with the SEC... And their entire portofio must be is listed. 99% of funds will post this as PDF on their web site. The turnover is not very high for most of these funds... Next to nil if they are tracking a sector or index.
I know this wasn't what you asked, but you can get top 25 holdings on Morningstar in a machine readable form. Etfconnect only has top 10. You can get all holdings from fund sponsor or SEC filings but if you want something machine readable, try Morningstar. Martin
