Babak, i think you can use the ratio of insider $ selling/ buying as a nice indicator for timing the market. If the ratio is low (as in sept 98 and sep 01) it's a strong buy signal with a time horizon of a couple of months. But keep in mind, no matter what, insiders will ALWAYS be net sellers. In my opinion, J Moreland at www.insiderinsights.com does a good job tracking the data. Regards, Oliver

I personally use it as a backdrop not for trading but for positioning a long term portfolio. It does, however, add value to my trading surprisingly.
