Not sure I could ball park it but animal sources refers mainly to protein so I try to limit protein to my levle needed to maintain LBM at least. Rest is vegetables and healthy fats.
Almost 38 grams of added sugar seems too high. Although I have no scientific basis to support 24 grams of added sugar being a solid maximum, for some reason, that amount seems about right to me.
Yeah who knows who came up with that recommendation and it does focus on added sugars so technically it should be a lot lower if we are not already counting natural sugars from fruits/vegetables/dairy. I mean you blow that away with just 1 can of Coke.
How many grams of protein are you shooting for daily? And do you factor in the protein content from plant sources?
Sounds like a test question haha I use a rough estimate of 1.6 grams x kg of body weight. I am not weighing and measuring every bite as I am not training for a meet but that is where I start. Protein is protein for me whatever the source.
I'm never been much of a fruit eater. The only fruits I get are in my veggie juice. We juice spring mix, kale, apple, celery, lemon, ginger, etc., every other day.
