And when there is the inevitable foul-up, who are you going to call? Yahoo will say it is the broker's fault, and the broker will blame Yahoo. Plus are you really going to trust your account details to Yahoo, a company that has had several data breeches? If you give me Buy/Sell access to your brokerage account, even without knowing the password, I can think of several ways to quickly drain all funds.
I haven't read Yahoo's Terms and Conditions for this service, but I'm sure they absolve Yahoo of any responsibility.
Robinhood is the only one on that list that makes sense due to the nature of the limited research tools available through Robinhood directly.
Ahh whatever. Everybody gets hacked. You didn't answer my question though. What is the use of this if you receive L2 etc from your broker? I mean I'm sure there's a reason... but I'm just missing it. Why would anybody sync their brokerage account to Yahoo?
