Limiting Taxes...

Discussion in 'Taxes and Accounting' started by Chinookie, Nov 5, 2007.

  1. I have been trading 5 years now and finally I'm ready to go full-time. That said, taxes will become my next big hurdle. How do I limit taxes when I'm daytrading? Are there any savings trading under a business entity? What kind of structure works best? Any advice would be helpful to all.

    Thanks!

  2. Yes, but search on ET first and then ask. This topic has been covered many times. Hint I trade under a LLC and save much on taxes and don't run the risk of audit, IMO, that a trader filing as MTM is running the risk of.
