    also not accurate. A limit order will never turn into a market order. A stop order does. Big difference.

    you can't by definition use limit orders as stop loss. You can use limit orders to lock in profits but not protect against losses. For that you need stop orders and the mechanics of stop orders are very different from limit orders (as outlined above).
