    Limbaugh’s Dumbest Statement Ever?

Rush Limbaugh has said a lot of stupid things over the years, but this one may top them all. On his radio show on Sept. 12, he actually suggested that Al Qaeda may have given up Osama Bin Laden to be killed in order to help Obama get reelected because he helps them so much.

One has to wonder which Al Qaeda leaders might have made that decision, given all of the ones who’ve been killed under Obama. Anwar al-Awlaki, one of the leaders of Al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula, was killed on Obama’s order. Abu Hafs al-Shahri, head of Al Qaeda’s Pakistan operations, was killed in August, 2011. Atiyah ‘Abd al-Rahman was killed around the same time. Ilyas Kashmiri, Ammar al-Wa’ili, Abu Ali al-Harithi, and Ali Saleh Farhan are all dead. So are Noordin Muhammad, Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan, Saleh al-Somali, ‘Abdallah Sa’id, Hussein al-Yemeni, Abu Ayyub al-Masri, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, Sheik Saeed al-Masri and Hamza al-Jawfi, all leaders in various Al Qaeda groups from Pakistan to Yemen to Somalia to Iraq. Ayman al-Zawahiri is pretty much the only one left.

    Brass

There is cognition and there is cognitive distortion. Meanwhile, Limbaugh specializes in cognitive perversion and knows his audience well.

  5. The only way that regulations might save business money is through some sort of stopping litigation. Maybe, with fair practice or things like the Health Department, lawsuits might be stopped that could happen if not for some sort of regulation or inspection. Would have to hear more on this to actually think that all regulations help businesses.

If there was no law making it illegal to do something in the first place then no one could sue for it, so you can play that game over and over and try to point out an instance which is 1 in a million where a regulation may save a business money, but in the end it always comes back to the fact that rules cost businesses money.

This is an economic fact, not just some ideological idea, and we are not talking about morality, just the simple fact that more rules=more cost to business, and free thinker for some reason is such a far left ass hole that he thinks the complete opposite of reality.
