So on the busiest hour and a half in ages (not for volume as that's evaporated but for tick movement) Liffe connect suddenly stops working. I wonder if any of the morons who work there might put 2 and 2 together and think "perhaps somethings wrong here that millions of orders/lots are entered yet never trade and perhaps that's affected the host today" or Did they they need an emergency timeout so their main client ( the one that apparently does 40-50% of their volume) could their knickers untwisted after the extreme volatility seen today.... CME and Eurex worked fine BTW
overrun by algos submitting orders. immninent flash crash on the way. the exchanges have lost control. lets hope they do prison time with some real hard alpha males.
