  1. not wanting to spend time on a pursuit does not mean your wish is to sabotage yourself, your life or $ which is what you suggest in your original post.

    EVERYONE wants to win

  2. "not wanting to spend time on a pursuit"(such as the trading business in this instance) is the same as not wanting to win...

How the fuck else is someone going to become a winning trader other than to pursue it without mercy?

I`m done with this convo as you are now just debating for the sake of debating.

  3. what you suggest is that many are deliberately sabotaging themselves ..regardless of their time spent.

YOU said: "Win or lose, everybody gets what they want out of the market. Some people seem to like to lose, so they win by losing money. "

if YOU lose on a trade is that what you wished for? Did you not place enough time?

NO ONE *LIKES* TO LOSE $.

    what you suggest is BS

  4. Thats what Ed Seykota said. And I agree 100%.

I didnt say if you lose on "a trade". I said if you are a losing trader. Got it?

If you are a net loser and you have enough samples you can figure out the issues. Whether they be emotional or system based. If you dont care to delve into the facts but remain a loser you ARE sabotaging yourself...period.

And I beg to differ. Many people LOVE losing money. The rush is much greater than the thrill of winning to them. The action is all they desire deep down. Plus they get to become a martyr to themselves and anybody else who doesnt know better.

Call it "BS" but its fact.

  5. My main tip is that life is short and you only have a limited amount of time left alive. Therefore it is complete insanity to waste your limited lifespan by spending time on meaningless everyday trivia. Restrict your time as much as possible to doing meaningful things with a higher purpose. Before doing anything, always ask "when I'm on my deathbed, will I be glad that I did this, or will I regret pissing away my precious time on such meaningless bollocks?"

With that last question fresh in my mind, I must log off and do something more important than read BS on the internet.
