Shorted AIHS on open as it failed to break $2, added to the winner, covered all on the dip, +$359 in 10 minutes. Once again in hindsight I regret not leaving a partial on as it continues down, but can't really complain, +6.28% gain on account for the day.
AIHS went from being up over 40% to now down over 20%, amazing, the money left on the table and I was ready to short SOS, but decided against it, was hesitant to give back profits, the setup was there, should have taken the trade.
Shorted NTWK premarket, covered in 20 minutes for +$493, +8.12% gain on the account for the day, all done before the market even opened, best week so far +$1,163 in less than 40 minutes of trading. Gotta stay confident, without getting too confident, keep sticking with what works, adding to winner seems to be working really well.
Checked the scanner this morning, plays that I liked were unavailable to borrow, so I shorted a big mover from last week, LEJU went up 22% on Friday, resistance area has been in the $3 area, this is not a low float stock and the short interest is very small, so knowing this I decided to build a nice position, kept adding as it was going down, once I was in a full position, I entered multiple orders to cover and waited, then came the flush, took me out of half, last half I wanted to let run, but without risking giving back too much profit, so put in a tight hard stop, and of course it gets filled right away, could have made a lot more, but once again can't complain with a +$440 gain in 35 minutes, a 6.71% gain for the account on the day, 5th green day in a row, we're really rolling now.
Shorted OPTT pre-market covered in 15 minutes for +$240, should've held out for more, +3.42% gain on account for the day, 6 green day streak, 1 more remaining day trade for the month, gotta keep the green wave going.
Thought I was in a nice short, but as the market is crashing, my short is laughing at me, like - I'm not going anywhere.
SYNL went up 27% yesterday, decided to short it, what a mistake, the volume was not there at all, on a day like this, it gave nothing back, finished completely flat, loss was manageable -$160, but what a waste of my last day trade, and waste of the whole day just sitting waiting for it to breakdown, didn't add to the loser for a change, in hindsight it would have worked out though, -2.22% loss on the account for the day.
