In about 2 weeks it will be over...Trump's downplaying, lies and lack of caring about Americans that have died from Covid-19...a recent tweet by Trump called the deaths "Fake News" is enough for a sane person to understand why the United States is in this insane Covid surge that's overwhelming the healthcare / hospital system... So much that its slowing down dramatically the vaccination at the same hospitals. By the way, there's an Inauguration countdown it which Trump and Melanie will be escorted from the Oval office to their last helicopter ride. https://www.timeanddate.com/countdo...09&p0=900&msg=Inauguration+2021&font=sanserif wrbtrader
You could be correct overall... but I think the difference is that democrats and liberals who vote (in my experience) know and expect their politicians to lie and they are happy with the lies, as long as their team wins and they get some more free shit or the object of their hatred gets hurt. Whereas, republicans and conservatives mostly despise the lies because our politicians pretend to be fiscal conservatives and then cave. We can't even get good tax cuts for the people out of our side these days.
Anti-lockdown protesters in London told ‘there’s a pandemic going on you twats’ https://metro.co.uk/2021/01/09/anti...heres-a-pandemic-going-on-you-twats-13876699/ Maskless demonstrators chanted ‘take your freedom back’ as they marched through the capital today in protest against the national lockdown. But clearly not everyone was on board with their message, with one bystander branding them ‘idiots’ and a woman shouting from her car saying: ‘There’s a pandemic going on you twats.’ Asround 30 protesters marched across Clapham Common, south London, and then down the high street, where a heavy police presence awaited them. Scuffles broke out with officers as the demonstrators reached Argos and one man appeared to be arrested during the fracas. Further clashes broke out outside a nearby Sainsbury’s and another protester was detained. The Metropolitan Police said 12 people had been arrested over the demonstration, organised by the StandupX group, which wound down by around 2pm. A man detained on Clapham Common shouted ‘I stand under common law, not maritime law and this is assault’, as he was put into handcuffs by police officers.
