Implying it was stupid of us to try to intervene to save lives and show the world that we do support democracy when we can. The whole basis of the thread is ridiculous. The Libyan rebels are demoralized, in disarray and near their end as a fighting force. Gaddaffi's forces are stalled due to allied air power. Not much is going to change and the no-fly zone and bombings will need to be continued to keep it that way. Hence, the quagmire until the U.S. gets more involved. Do you understand now? And, regarding your post that I slammed, you had nothing to say but to try to personally denigrate me. So go fuck yourself.
I read that Gahdaffy dropped cluster bombs randomly on civilian neighborhoods in Misrata today and also thumbed his nose at Obama calling him "son". Evidently the Libyan Air Force is still putting up a few effective sorties. I can't wait for a British, French or Italian fighter to be shot down by a Libyan jet. Nonetheless I will go ahead and solve this problem right now for the world. Anyone that knows NATO knows that the only 2 air forces in Europe with any balls and any skill is the German Air Force and the Dutch Air Force. The germans are particularly badass and employ very young men in the cockpit like Israel does. Either of those two organizations could make very quick work of killing Ghadaffy if turned loose on him. Problem solved. Lemme know when the Nobel Peace committee calls so I can tell them to fuck off.
