I read through a number of these stories....they like to hang out this charge but none reported what Paul's reply to this charge ...because the headline is the fact to the sheep
Ayn Rand's ideas are the most virulent thing to ever land on American soil. We owe those to her reaction (pun intended) to the failed Russian revolution, and we owe that to their extreme 19th century inequality. Ripples in a pond.
After he asked Biden to help his own state of Kentucky, Rand Paul lashed out at critics who brought up his history of opposing disaster relief bills https://www.businessinsider.com/ran...ics-said-hypocrite-on-disaster-relief-2021-12
Nothing in the article imply "lashing out" This is a headline created for re-tweeting... Paul told The Post on Tuesday that he's routinely requested emergency aid for Kentucky and that he has "never been opposed to the program, ever." He said he was opposed to using "borrowed" money to fund disaster relief and not offsetting the cost elsewhere in the federal budget. "That's different than saying, 'Oh, he now wants it because it's in his state and he never wanted it,'" Paul told The Post. "I've never opposed anybody's disaster relief in any other state. I've just asked that it be paid for."
If Rand really cared about "it being paid for", then he should support those administrations that generally reduce the deficit and lower (the growth rate of) the debt, i.e. democratic administrations. Instead, he bitches about how big government is, all the while being part of its size.
Another intellectual retort, congratulations You can see why the left would rather ban tweets then to argue them
