Liberals, Terrorists and John Kerry

  1. The argument that Iraq diverted resources - troops and materiel - from Afghanistan is probably not the case. There is a limit to how much the US can effectively use in search and destroy operations for Al Queda in Afghanistan. THe operations in Afghanistan have now driven out the Tasliban and removed state sanctary for bin Laden.

In any event, there is a global Islamic 'jihad' and killing and capturing bin Laden and his top leuitenants won't seriously disrupt this. Militant Islam is a virus. You have to kill the bug and innoculate the uninfected.

All the Europeans states should be relentlessly pursuing Islamic militants.

There are probably 20 different Islamic resistance groups operating in Iraq right now, according to jihadunspun.com

I agree there is a limit to the number of troops that can be used, but I don't agree that it has been even remotely reached in Afghanistan.

  5. As usual your emotions - and your bias - are quickly revealed, not to mention your contempt for the majority of your countrymen.

You fail to see the bigger picture, which is not surprising. Furthermore, the concept of multi-tasking is, apparently, way over your head.

Yes, ask the Spaniards; they were attacked, not us. The fact that there hasn't been an attack on US soil since 9/11 - thanks to Bush's resolve and decisions which have decimated al Qaeda's ranks - obviously means nothing to you nor your fellow Bush haters.

But fear not, Citizen Rogue. That we will be attacked again on our soil, and on a grand scale, is highly likely. This will give you and your cohorts cause to celebrate and an opportunity to excrete more vitriol at Bush.

Yes my bias is out. I have contempt for stupid people.

Oh, the shame of it all.

You fail to see the bigger picture, which is not surprising. Furthermore, the concept of multi-tasking is, apparently, way over your head.

I fail to see your bigger picture, as that particular perspecitve would require require insertion of my head up my ass.

Yes, ask the Spaniards; they were attacked, not us. The fact that there hasn't been an attack on US soil since 9/11 - thanks to Bush's resolve and decisions which have decimated al Qaeda's ranks - obviously means nothing to you nor your fellow Bush haters.

Oh, the anthrax was not an attack? The fear of terrorism has not gripped America, created expenditures, crippled the airline industry, etc? It did not lead to an unnecessary and very expensive war, which has evolved into a nation building project, something that Bush said he wouldn't do?

Apparently you don't understand terrorism isn't about the event of a terrorist attack, it is about creating the kind of terror that creates Patriot acts, labels protestors of Bush policy as treasonous, hurts our travel and tourism, etc., etc, etc.

Overseas terrorist attacks now impact the US when in the past they didn't have much of an impact at all.

For all I see, the terrorist are winning the war as long as America is not back to the freedom and terrorlessness we felt prior to 911.
People have traded common sense for fear.

But fear not, Citizen Rogue. That we will be attacked again on our soil, and on a grand scale, is highly likely. This will give you and your cohorts cause to celebrate and an opportunity to excrete more vitriol at Bush.

I didn't fear it in the first place, I don't fear it now.

  7. Poor you. Self loathing is a terrible thing.

It's already been up there for quite some time.

The perpetrator(s) may well have been Americans, and you can in no way call the anthrax "attack" a large-scale terrorist operation. If indeed al Qaeda was behind it, then we should rejoice in their apparent weakness.

So now the American people are at fault for somehow, someway, coming to the conclusion that some Islamic terrorists want to kill them, and planning accordingly? Gee, I wonder how they got that idea?!?

I don't know what planet you're living on, but by and large the American public has been extremely resilient and to the greatest extent going on about their normal lives. You paint a picture of a siege mentality that does not exist. Most of us are concerned and being precautious, but we are hardly cowering in the cellar of our homes.

    Bravo, and exactly my point.

  8. Bush paints a picture of fear, brain deads accept it.

Count yourself among the brain dead if you support his fear mongering.

    ART:
    >Bush can't give a talk without using the same words over,
    >and over, and over again in a moronic droning weak and
    >ineffectual manner.

And here I thought "moronic droning weak and ineffectual" were reserved for most of your arguments. You mean Bush gets to do that too?
