Maybe you have. But on the food stamps thing, you were certainly arguing (in the original thread) that it was just fine within the Libertarian ideals, and that's what I'm referring to. I don't know anyone who subscribes to everything in the LP.
and as far as abortion goes, I believe that as long as that baby is living in the mother's womb, she is the sole god and master of that universe. And no man, not even the father can challenge her law. Once that child takes it's first breath it is protected under all the laws of the United States.
Great. On that, you align closer to Libertarians than I do. I recognize that each individual has control over their own life and government should have no right to interfere. But as a parent and a Christian, I am at odds with that belief.
What I fail to understand is the psychological issues you seem to have. But I'm sure that everyone - both online and in your real life - has the same issue. What has math got to do with anything in our discussion thus far again?
I am also a parent, and at one time was a very devout Christian (born again). I would hope no god would allow wrath to fall on one of his children. After every deadly tornado, someone is sitting around asking, "God, why did you do this?" It's difficult to know the mind of God. And it is very difficult for me to know the mind of a pregnant mother. Me personally? I don't blame god for allowing a deadly tornado, even though if He is all powerful he could have prevented it. Maybe there is something else going on in His plan I don't yet understand. Same goes for the all powerful mother allowing deadly things to go on in her universe.
Now we're on God and tornadoes. I'm sorry, but conversing with you is like trying to have coffee with a kid who has ADHD and a touch of Tourette's.
I have Tourettes. And not just a touch of it, but full blown. It is a miserable disorder. I have taken every medicine imaginable. None of them work. They say it decreases with age, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I know to those who are not affected by it it seems silly and is easy to make fun of. Don't know anything about ADHD. You were the first one on this thread to bring up abortion and your Christian belief. If you don't want to talk about it, don't bring it up in the first place.
