Liberalism, evolution, and socialist

  1. Hendry Ford built a car in his barn. It worked and it was lower cost than other vehicles at the time so people wanted more. So he built some more, invented the assembly line and lined up dealerships.

Donald Douglas built an airplane in a closed down drug store, It was low cost and so he found that flyers wanted it. When I worked for him it was a private company with 79,000 employees.

Great companies that are started by men like these stay competitive until they are taken over by accountants and comptroller types who eventually run them into the ground while make disgustingly large salaries. That is corporate welfare.

  2. These kinds of emotionally potent oversimplifications that are designed to get Limbaugh follower types all riled up do noone any good. You must know that modern economic organization
is so multi-faceted, that its short of the mark to condense it to any single label. Who can say that incentive isn't a great idea but as its actually practised, out at the edges, its been bastardized by pay up front contract law. To the extent that a true meritocracy can be invoked the prevailing human nature and greed has been substituted. Right now I want to give "demand-side" economics and trickle-up a try and see how that works -- somebody's got to be able to afford to buy all that stuff, right.

  3. Hoodooman so what is your argument? Do you think corporate welfare will eventually run our entire country to the ground? It won't. People will innovate and people will learn the best methods of business. Thats what successful people do.

People bitch about the system of capitalism not because there is something hugely wrong with the system but rather just because they enjoy bitching about a large majority of things.

You sound like the guys who are worried about the world over populating. See until you devise a system that works better than capitalism that ALREADY hasn't been proven to fail than you can re-open that hole in your face.

Until than you are just endlessly bitching.

Iceman, well first of all I am happy for you that you are proud of your high IQ.

Second I think its great that you are able to use this forum to make yourself feel even better by telling all of us your IQ.

Third my name address and number are all easily found on the internet or 411.

I do not know about you but I'd rather have someone try to steal my credit card info than talk to me like that guy did.

Hey maybe you care more about your credit cards. Good for you miss.

Anyhow I think it was Omega that made the only logical statement in this thread when he asked if we considered ourselves no better than animals.

  6. Wrong Omega. You and your liberal counter parts enjoy calling things simple when really things are simple.

Omega you are against companies having the free will of paying their executives as much as they want or can. The funny part is that you never provided a solution to your opinion, your rather just complaining about the system. See the average IQ person learned that solutions are very important to persuasive essays in highschool. Either you use this website to vent out frustrations or you seriously think that you are adding something of value to the discussion when in all reality you look like a person who is angry at the system. Angry people are angry because they can't find the cure to fix their anger.

I must ask that you provide a cure to the system in order for you to pursue with this argument. The only thing you have implied so far is having government tell companies that they can only pay their executives so much money. Well Omega that is clearly far from capitalism.

You said something very far from capitalism and then you not only said that i over simplify things but also that i am some type of radical conservative. Calling me a radical conservative only shows insecurity on your part.

See Omega when you claim your not changing capitalism and yet your advocating the restriction of company salaries you are truly conflicting yourself because there is hardly anything more anti-capitalistic than that stance of yours.

Good luck accusing people of over simplification in future debates because you are really going to need it.

  7. "See the average IQ person learned that solutions are very important to persuasive essays in highschool."

While you are trying to get your money back for time wasted in college for 4 years, try also to get a refund for time wasted in high school.

Who the hell thinks about essays in high school anyway?

    :D :D :D

  9. Over the years I've seen a few seriously disturbed trolls on ET. They like to respond to a sender by putting words in their mouth and then insulting their intelligence.

NeoReo, I've decided that you obviously fit into this category. Therefore, no reply to your insults is ever necessary.

This place ( ET) is amazing. There is a wealth of brain power and info here.

Mix that with the crazy diverse beliefs, needs, and ideals and we could really learn something.

All the name calling from you fucking idiots just messes everything up.

Seriously though think how far we could get if, for instance, Iceman looked over his superior intellect and just helped me figure out something I couldnt understand.

I doubt Neo and Oktiri are going to change eachothers minds about anything so lets stop trying to force people to think one way or another and just learn from eachother.

I do realize people like myself will be doing the majority of the learning while many of you high IQ types will be doing most of the teaching.

Hey I guess there are perks to being stupid.
