  4. It's a good point -- the southern Democrats opposed civil rights and then they all moved north leaving the south a bastion of equal rights, freedom for blacks and a stronghold of the Republican party.

  5. 377OHMS

    377OHMS

Indeed, it was the democrats in the south who abused blacks after the civil war when blacks were given rights by the "radical republicans". The democrats formed the KKK to oppose those free-blacks and republicans.

The entire Democratic plank on Civil Rights is a Lie.

  6. Speaking of liberals and "civil rights":

Coates claimed the NAACP pressured Justice Department officials.
FOX News reported on the hearing today:

  7. You have some misunderstandings. You need to educate yourself and be able to more accurately understand the meaning of the terms you are throwing around, you are making several false statements.

  8. Fox News reported it, must be entirely true.

  9. Makes sense that hermette takes information from a fictional television show and believes it to be factual, that explains a lot about his logic.

Liberals actually filibustered the civil rights act, conservatives proposed and passed it. Conservatives ended segregation, left wingers fought it tooth and nail every step. Conservatives (ike) expanded social security, left wingers fought it every step. Conservatives created the interstate highway system, making the united states exponentially more prosperous and efficient. The left wing, of course, kicked and screamed the whole way.
