  1. "Attorney General Alberto Gonzales falsely denied he was deeply involved in the firing of eight federal prosecutors, his former top aide said Thursday, adding that the final decision on who was to be dismissed was made by Gonzales and President Bush’s former counsel.

“I don't think the attorney general's statement that he was not involved in any discussions of U.S. attorney removals was accurate,” testified Kyle Sampson, who quit this month as Gonzales' top aide. “I remember discussing with him this process of asking certain U.S. attorneys to resign.”

  2. When I saw your header I imagined the subject of your post to be Senator Dianne Fienstein (democrat) who has made billions of dollars on the same horrible Iraq war that her and your party is staunchly against, by sitting on committes and directing billions of US taxpayer dollars in the form of contracts to her husband's firm.

  3. Is it really surprising that he lied.? If one believes that the current administration is influenced by the neoconservative philosophies, then you should expect lies. One of the principles of Neoconsvervatism is that lying is necessary for the state to survive. Just be careful not to lie under oath.

  6. As usual, klansmen come out swinging trying to point fingers at others... :D

  7. Strawman/ad hominem/red herring response from repugniklans to the truth of their party's cronyism under Bush, is like Pavlov's dog to the ringing of the bell...

Both are the responses of dumb animals slobbering...

  8. "Liar...Liar...Pants on fire..." - a typical goo-goo gah-gah type (but intellectual to the libs) response of the left, used mainly by self appointed moral authority Ben Cohen of (Ben + Jerry Ice Cream) and on air america, likely where tradermaji got it.

  9. It's not often that you see payback so quickly. Gonzales fired his chief of staff in a classic Bush administration "Throw a body off the back of the wagon to slow down the wolves" move. Yesterday the guy was before the Senate Committee saying Gonzales was a liar.

I bet Scooter Libby was envious.
