Will you please, for heavens sake at least, shut the fuck up. Every post of yours introduces more lies and falsehood. There is no immigration flood and Obama is not allied with the Middle East to destroy America. Are you completely retarded or has someone AR15ed your brain?

When will this nonsense of yours stop? You can't convince others with lies... Why does that not go into your thick skull? We can argue about Islam and Muslims all the way and I even respect your gun fanatism, and so does everyone else. Why then do you have to put up more and more lies and Bullshit? Do you find your own arguments so weak that you can't stick to facts and the truth?

So who started this flood to harm America? Are you a whore to the Saudis? Clearly not. Are you accusing your own president of treason? Unbelievable.

Don't waste your time with these zealots, most of them are ex addicts who have a new addiction in Christianity, it's the only way they can make it thru the day...some claim to be libertarians but underneath it all they just hate themselves.

I think we are in agreement here. I am interested in the underlying reasons that explain our curious, and unrelenting, irrational behavior.

There are people on ET that I have met that are professional psychologists. They are far more qualified to answer this question than I am. If I were in charge of the world, more than anything else I would

    • Create a healthy supportive environment for parents to raise their children without stress. Garbage In, Garbage Out. Negate that and you see where I am going.
    • Encourage rational thinking and solution oriented purposeful lives. While I would encourage a spiritual life, I would encourage the education of children on the dangers of organized religion.
    • Maximize individual freedom, while teaching team/network skills.
    • Teach the positive and negative aspects of the ID and EGO. Rational introspection is a must.
There is a progression of those bullet points from childhood to adulthood, each highlighting the greatest danger at each stage. It is meant to mimic brain development in youths.

Almost all of human beings' problems stem from lack of economic, educational and spiritual well being. Our entire society is based on predators praying on exactly that triad - manipulated through fear, greed, etc.

Scat old boy. You post this insane nonsense, and frankly I don't understand how anyone can be so sheltered from reality as you. Legal immigration to the U.S. has been tightly controlled for many years now. The demand for seasonal, low wage workers coupled with poor enforcement of laws forbidding the hiring of those here illegally, coupled with rather trivial and ineffective fines and enforcement, has made it profitable for US businesses to hire those willing to work for low wages, or do jobs others won't for the same wage. This has been a driving force of those crossing from Mexico into the U.S.. The vast majority of those coming crossed legally, but a significant number overstayed their visas and became illegal after they were already here legally. This has nothing to do with a purposeful intention "to harm America," as you claim. It belies an unstable mind to suggest such. Immigration from Mexico has to do with profits and the increasing penchant of the U.S. government to favor business interests over public interests, making it unlikely that any change in immigration policy that would impact business interests negatively will pass both Houses of Congress. Our congressmen and senators are walking a tightrope between broad, non-Hispanic public-sentiment and the increasing number of Hispanic American voters, while at the same time preserving their place at the corporate, campaign- funds feeding-trough. And, as we well know, "the hardest thing in the world is to keep pigs away from a trough!"

    -----------------------
We would be remiss not to recognize the benefits to the U.S. economy of higher wages and increased living standards for Mexican workers in Mexico. The impractical and absurdly expensive proposals of Mr. Trump will make this problem of low wages in Mexico worse, not better. We have lower cost, practical options for affecting improvement in working conditions and pay for Mexican workers in Mexico, especially with regard to American owned, corporate operations in Mexico.

The particular insight you have makes me wonder if you are perhaps a teacher. If you are, then you have arguably the most important job in our country, and I would think you are a dedicated and very good teacher.

a man has to know his limitations, If you think you know enough about what exactly motivates terrorists to lecture us that they are not motivated by imams who preach terror in terror mosques... you are another scary leftist.

I bet if you were an expert trained by the smartest people on the subject in the world you understand how silly it is to make such definitive proclamations.

My bet would be that its a spectrum just like just about everything else.

Its a spectrum of motivations and its a spectrum of what makes people snap. I would be wiling to bet there is are definitive percentages or even understandings. Obviously, each potential terrorist is different. Some have been highly educated and well connected some are nutty loners on psychoactive drugs.

you know I understand the differences and posted those charts because they came up first in a google search.

I appreciate a good guess... and you made one. I presented a very good guess showing that the laws make know difference... Did you see the link and read the article?

I don't care for guesses when it comes to this constitutional right. I don't give much credence to cherry picked data points. We need comprehensive stats and data to even begin to make judgments about the efficacy of gun control laws. What I know is that the most dangerous places in America seem to have the most gun control. I have been to Chicago and New York City. I spent a lot of time in Manhattan in my early 20s. I know all about where I could go at night and where I could not. I had been mugged for my bus pass as a 7th grader at knife point in an NYC school. Believe me lefty mayors and gun control did not make NYC safer. It was unsafe. Rudy Guilianni made it safer.

If you wish to present solid data for both left and right sources, we could have a good discussion.

Til then I will stick with the 2nd amendment because I don't trust you buddies to make good decision regarding my children's freedoms if they take our guns away. You saw what the IRS did to conservatives. You saw the NYT suggesting the govt have secret committees to take away 2nd amendment rights. We already know the govt is willing to lock people up indefinitely and take away their rights if they are labeled terrorist.

We need more freedoms for govt overreach not fewer.
