Leveraged Funds

    Does anyone know if the Index Leveraged funds go to cash when things turn against the fund??? or do they just stay Long or Short depending on the strategy

    For questions like this they invented this handy document called the prospectus!

    Every ETF is different, there isn't really a pat answer to the question.

  3. While there may be an exception, they do not go to cash.

  4. %% Exactly; I'm thinking of 2 different leveraged, they're mostly in cash, swaps....... Some price shocks + surprizes, meaning what?? The inverse[short profit] pays you a dividend, like the longs/ some of them ;thought that was mistake -its not.So no= don't really go to cash; they maintain an average cash position, some of them.:cool::cool:
