I dont have a chance to use either so I wanted to know from those that do. Totalview is advertised as being better. Is this true? - nathan
It depends what you want out of the quotes, but there are some differences/advantages, and you also have to drag NQDS intot he comparison. TotalView provides different depth levels and includes some ECN data (BRUT, SUMO, TRAC) beyond the top bid or ask. Level2 and NQDS provide similar data, with NQDS providing tick data. NQDS and TotalView come from the same data source, direct, whereas Level2 comes from another source. Latencies "differ"...of course, since one is direct, the other, not.
