Gore will be in the White House within 8 years. He's our only hope to stop the interests of big business. His campaign against global warming is unstoppable because scientists themselves don't really agree on it, but it's the kind of global-macro issue that can get people concerned in the right way. If any of the right-wingers come out against global warming, we can then deal with them as insensitive, or racist. That usually sends them packing. After the people are educated on global warming, we can slow down big business. Then we won't have to watch the rich and powerful preening on TV every night, and driving around in their SUV's. You can't disprove something that may not be real in the first place. If we can get the Republicans to wrestle with this ghost (global warming), we can get on to the real issues we'd like to bring forward - like halting the Republican tax cut schemes.
