Would normally pack it in for the day with two early winners, but I'll hang around till lunchtime since I have a goal to reach.
I am getting a lot of pms about this thread being tough to follow, and that is probably true. I don't expect any more trades today since I'll probably pack it in around lunchtime, but I will also post my trades on twitter now (will post here as well) for those that just want to see the trades. http://twitter.com/sicktraderII
No you wouldn't, you'd be the first to bitch about how he must be trying to sell something or it must be a scam somehow. You've NEVER showered praise on anyone. Please, don't insult peoples intelligence.
TZ, Give it a rest man, please. We all get it - so what! You are acting like a strict parent that wont let your kids go out to play with the rough kids or wont allow them to eat a burger or crap like that...give it a break.
Agreed! We all get it TZ! We appreciate the warnings, now just let the thread continue please without further interruptions.
That's event risk we are all exposed to. Remember those 10-15 pt "fat finger" moves in ES a few years ago? Hard to plan for that. But, you do give me an idea. Suppose you have 2 accounts set up with different firms. One trades a momentum/break out method and the other trades support/resistance. If both have a pos expectancy, then it seems they could smooth the equity curve.
I don't see any problem here, other than the last 98550 short was a bit dubious. Nothing that a pic of his daily run won't solve, but for some reason it's not forthcoming.
for those who are interested, you will be seeing yesterday's and today's statement tonight or in the morning. Anyone know how to use photoshop? All calls have clearly been posted in advance.
Thread is very entertaining. As for the whole 3pt target, 2 pt stop concept, it's pretty obvious to anyone who is a trader or was a trader that it does not work. If it did, everyone would be a millionaire with a simple automated system a long time ago. Slippage & commissions make sure that it does not work. Money management is not an edge, never was and never will be.
