Many ES traders also trade, or at least watch, NQ, Mini-Nasdaq, and ZN, 10 year notes. You may access and trade all of these for free without a broker in the Trading Technologies, TT, demo environment. http://about.trade.tt/
I just finished the book about a month ago (Reminisces of a Stock Trader). I don't remember that quote but these are similar. ------------------ It takes a man a long time to learn all the lessons of all his mistakes. They say there are two sides to everything, but there is only one side to the stock market; and it is not the bull side or the bear side, but the right side. Page 27 Being broke is a very efficient educational agency. Page 58 I cleared 3M in 1916 by being bullish as long as the bull market lasted and then by being bearish when the bear market started. A man does not have to marry one side of the market till death the do them part. Page 164 I will tell you my secret if you wish. It is this: I never buy at the bottom and I always sell too soon. Page 186 ----------- I can't believe that book was published in 1922 and his lessons are just a valid today as they were 94 years ago. It would have been fun to have dinner with him .........imagine the conversations.
All is never what it appears to be - especially in the charts!! J_S Suicide. On November 28, 1940, Livermore shot and killed himself in the cloakroom of the Sherry Netherland Hotel in Manhattan.
Yeah, that was unfortunate. His son and grandson committed suicide as well. I wonder if there is any kind of genetic link or if people in trouble just think....My granddad did it as well as my father, I guess it's ok. But he lived a full life. 100M dollars the day the stock market crashed in 1929....wow.
