Monopoly as a game was designed to show how capitalism really works. It’s actuslly a game of luck and rate of return masquerading as a game about business prowness. Once the board is filled up with owners (determined by a role of the dice) the winner has essentially been determined and all the money will flow to one player over time. Trump’s tax cut (especially the inheritance portion) is going to make the US more “monopoly” like. This is good if you are one of the .1percenters whose fathers own boardwalk. This is bad if you are everyone else. Your socialist version of monopoly would ensure a very long game with no one being poor and their still being a profit incentive. Good for society, not so fun as a table game.
