that might be the case, but the features that matter most to many option traders, not analysers , is fast input of combo orders, quick at the hand details like % chance of max profit, eg 30%, expected move of the underlying in a option chain time frame. These things are in top option brokers like Tastyworks, why shouldn't IB also have these to the benefit of IB option traders? Why do some complain how shitty it is but continue to use? there are so many other choices out there, and Tastyworks is at the top for the fastest easy input of orders and adjusting, and show the analytics that matter to Option Traders, % of max profit, market maker move, or expected move of the underlying in the time frame, much more accurate than a subjective chart reading, where one may see it as resistance another support. please vote for the suggestions as posted at the start.
Did you check the options lab? you can modulate even volatility, not only the different prices. And for profit probability - TastyWorks just takes one of the greeks (I'm only a casual optioneer so don't ask me which exactly, I think it was delta), subtrates its value from 1,00 and there you have the probability (same goes for TDA). You can see the greeks in TWS too, its your profitability from TW in 1:1.
MotiveWave connects to IB and has basic options support (option chains). We do plan to revisit our options functionality at some point in the future.
