Since people assume my opinions without ever asking, blackface is horrible but in many cases people are just ignorant and need to be educated. I think several steps can be taken when a person does something so stupid is to force them in learning and studying about why what they did was offensive and making amends. Ignorance is no defense of the law but this is not a case of something illegal, just highly inappropriate. Many cases here are not someone doing blackface but dressing up as a person who is black for Halloween. However the connection exists and ignorance is easily battled with education .
Sometimes a person who does that should be fired. For example if you do that and then apply for a job as the NAACP director in Spokane. It's complicated.
She should have been kicked out because he actions reflect something seriously wrong and you don't invite that kind of crazy into the house. No doubt in this case at all....
So now that we are approaching nearly 100 examples of college yearbooks from across the U.S. in the 1970s & 1980s which have pictures of people in blackface --- should everyone appearing in the pictures be fired? Keeping in mind that cultural norms have changed over time and these type of blackface parties were common on campuses during the period 40 years ago.
This stuff will continue and get even worse until people refuse to go along and just say F off. It's ironic but also telling that dems have no problems with officeholders who are former felons, terrorists, illegal immigrants or who support or justify islamist terrorists. A white person, particularly an older man, however faces an entirely different standard. It's so bad that even children are attacked, provided they are white.

Democrats are "always" exempted from their outrageous rules! Hillary Clinton calls blacks Super Predators and not even a whimper! They elect a KKK klansman Democrat Senator Robert Byrd and despite, him wearing his KKK klansman robe with hood on his arm, crickets! Bill Clinton accused of rape by Juanita Broderick and other women, nothing to see here. Yet, bogus allegations against Donald Trump and Brett Kavanaugh without proof are considered proven without any doubt! Such is the bizarro world of Democrats, all of them are angels! Atleast, they think so! "Do as I say, not as I do."
Don't worry....Warren already shot her chances in the foot with all of this. You think she is escaping unscathed but she will be asked to not throw her hat in the ring because she is too easy a target. In fact, outside of this fiasco, I cannot name anything else she is even involved with.
At the time....it was honored as a great sitcom that lasted for many years but it was a lot more intelligent in its depictions because the humor nailed it.
