Bernanke is a breadth of fresh air to me after Mr. Babble Speak Greenspan. IMO Your displeasure with Bernanke is misplaced. You should be more concerned with a disfunctional US government. While it is true that under Greenspan the Fed was a big part of the reason for the financial meltdown, along with a disfunctional government, currently Bernanke can only react to the situation he was handed, which was less than good. Under the circumstances, it seems to me he is doing as well as could be expected. Hindsight is 20/20. We will have that 20/20 vision with regard to Mr. Bernanke a number of years from now. So what happened to all those "imminent deflation threads"?
