Heritage is something you are born with, not what and how you are taught. Bloodline is important.

What Americans lack, is a civilization. We got plenty of cultures going on, under a flag and a belief system.

in fairness, Vlad's wreaked havoc, including successfully pushing Brexit efforts by weaponizing a refugee crisis and indiscriminate carpet bombing Syria and pushing anti-refugee propaganda through out Europe. Not to mention pushing Kremlin aligned members into not taking in said refugees.

No, in name only. Its western acquisitions were peeled but its territories east of Ural Mountains stayed put. Germany, Poland, Czech etc were never part of Russia anyway.

You call them satellites states, I see them as its allies under Warsaw pact. When history comes to push and shove, what remains at the core is its heritage.

I don’t recall any bloodshed during its collapsing, everyone wants to take state properties into its pocket. Money is more important.

that's why I said under USSR rule. How many attempts were made and quashed prior to the breakup? Hell, Ukraine has a rich history of trying to break from that rule (Holodomor being a clear example of soviet prevention).

Unfortunately Ukraine’s rich history is not their own making. Lviv belongs to Poland and then Austria. Eastern part belongs to Russian empire. So history they can write, bloodline they don’t have.
