Well, that would of course be exciting for you, but let us not leave a record here that looks like I have said that Bernie will be the nominee. What I have said is "dont underestimate him." He is going to run all the way to the end and he will gobble up lots of votes that the other candidates will desperately need. You will have several second tier candidates- let's use Kamala Harris as an example- who might be able to beat Biden with her own base plus votes that will be tied up with Bernie. All the primaries get splintered up if Bernie runs hard and he will. Bernie has lots and lots of cash too and can get more seemingly whenever he wants it. For anyone who is interested in any candidate other than Bernie or Biden, it will be a tough row to hoe. Those two will tie up a lot of votes.
If Obama or GW Bush had to deal with what President Donald Trump has dealt with since, his inauguration, they probably, would have quit on the spot and nobody can fault them for it! The think I like about President Donald Trump is he is a fighter! As huge the odds are, he keeps plodding along and throwing counter punches until he is victorious! He probably, did not realize coming in, how hard it will be to drain the swamp with all the alligators, snakes and vermin in it, and they are pretty large vermin. A second term is needed so that, he can atleast, lay the groundwork for the next US President, hopefully, in the same mold as him to continue his legacy! He has done plenty in the short period of 2 years so, I give him that credit. Let us get real. He cannot do everything by himself. However, if a sizable portion of the 62 million Americans who voted for him will only use their energies to fight for what you believe in, I can see the US only getting better for the future generations! If not, then, you deserve what you have coming for you and your family because you fully deserved it by your inaction!
Immigration is where Trump crushes democrats in polling. Ironically, it’s his weakest area. His record on border enforcement and deportations shows digression from what Obama was able to accomplish without any significant changes to the law. How the democrat nominee deals with this issue could make or break the election.
Biden goes flaccid with Anita Hill by trying to dump a cheap -self-serving apology on to her just to meet his campaign needs. She basically told him (my paraphrase) to buzz off and that she did not want to be used as a means of straightening out all of his various problems with women and the metoo movement. Elect a clown, get a clown. You dems better keep that in mind. Also, all you born-again types here that seem to need a refresher course on Joe Biden. Fortunately, you are about to get one. Joe Biden and Anita Hill finally spoke. She says he doesn't understand the damage he caused. https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/25/politics/biden-hill-spoke-cnntv/index.html
Yeh sure, a dem candidate can go ahead and brag about border enforcement as an accomplishment by dems. Let us know how that works out. Borders are sooooooooooo yesterday among your ilk, dude. Dont even go there if you are a dem candidate.
Wrong. You’re basing your analysis on Fox News reporting and a handful of people, not the democrats in total. There’s only so long you can pretend Trump has not been a disaster on the border and immigration.
The border situation has been a disaster because the dems will not support legislation to amend the amnesty laws and to enforce the border at the level needed, such as with a wall. What you call a "disaster" is actually a planned goal of the democrats and what success looks like to your ilk. That's why I said you need to be careful about saying that dems can win by crowing about alleged obama successes in controlling the border. That's yesterday man, sooooo yesterday. Borders are racist. Be careful, White Boy, Your party has left you in some areas and you are having trouble keeping up. Yup. Lots of thinking ahead for you in many areas.
O really and what legislation was brought forward to amend the amnesty laws? Last I checked, Trump turned down a comprehensive immigration package that included $25 billion in additional resource for the border.
Yup. There was deal there to be had, but the dems loaded it up with allowing chain migration and a bunch of other stuff so it went down. As I said many times back then, the dems sold out the dreamers because they did not want Trump to have a victory especially at election time. Better hope that the DACA case goes well for your ilk because the court is taking it up in the next session in the fall I believe.
It was Trump that walked away, not democrats or even republicans in Congress. Trump had an all or nothing approach and he could not even get enough congressional Republicans onboard with his demands. I do hope the DACA case goes well, only for the sake of the people involved not for any political reason. In terms of my ilk, the republicans certainly are not my ilk and bad ruling will hurt them not democrats.
