The so-called “Justice democrats” are the Bernie group that got Occasio-Cortez elected. They ran like 49 primary challenges, won 7 and only won 1 in the general, the Fox News famous AOC.
Yeh, it's complicated. Hillary bitched about how lots of women were older and just did what their husbands told them to do so they voted for Trump. Meanwhile, all/most/many of the younger generation hip, educated, liberated women that she though she owned, voted for Bernie. oops. Similarly, she accused the Michigan, Wisconsin voters of being mostly deplorables who would never vote for a woman, a black, a whatever- totally overlooking the fact that they had voted for Obama twice- a guy who is semi-black. Gonna be some serious nude mud wrestling between the old white guys in this race- Trump, Bernie, Biden. I know everyone is on a Biden-high today, but I would not underestimate Bernie. This is his last hurrah and he is going to the very, very end and will yield nothing until he is dead on the field. Not saying he will get the nom but absolutely do not expect him to play nice with Biden just because they are old DC buddies.
Not at all. Cain is out, Moore is wobbly, and the Fed isn’t blown up. Things seem to be going my way and I’m the outlier. Are things going your way?
The so-called justice democrats see themselves as “the center of energy” on the left but they are a bunch of losers.
I dunno. Remains to be seen. Certainly the evidence so far is that if the far left says they want to see something, most of the dem candidates are parroting it within a very short period of time. You can argue that Biden has not done that, but Biden has not really stated any policies or entered the fray yet, including today. He shows a video in the morning and then goes out to a restaurant to get some food to go and brings it home for the rest of the day. Such is his roll-out. Biden has hired some far lefties, but as I said, he has not done or said much of anything yet so if you want to argue that he is not influenced by them, well, you probably can do that for at least another day or two. Who the hell knows what he thinks these days. We know from the polls that they recognize his name more than the others, that is about it. and of course some of his advisors might be saying one thing these days but really thinking something else. Joe seems likeable and is certaintly the least polarized Democratic Presidential contenders for 2020. Joe is smart and strikes me as a competent politician. If he really puts his mind to it, joe could embarrass Trump in the debates. After all, you know was Trump is going to say beforehand and his responses are pretty predictable. Trump may have delivered all that he is going to as President. He called out media bias, political correctness, filled Supreme Court vacancies with competent judges, and came up with the “novel” idea of our country puting its own interests before a foreign country. However, Trump talks about border security and then suggests our new “guests” should stay in sanctuary cities. Dummkopf. Seems a like a deal was made between the Trump administration and the Democrats: No impeachment for open borders. Even Trump being a “placeholder” for a “real” president still has value, however. The Democratic Party has initiated false flag operations, supported false accusers well after it become evident, used ANTIFA violent activities as a bargaining chip as seen with Nancy Pelosi’s ANTIFA comments, Democratic support for racism against Whites and sexism against men, and intimidation tactics against Conservative Students and speakers on college campuses. The Radical Leftists has taken over the Democratic Party in order to advance their Socialist agenda. These Socialists are, well, using Socialist tactics. If you don’t see this, try reading Rules for Radicals and the Communist Manifesto. Free speech, the right to own guns, the electoral college, our economic system, border security, and protections for our other civil rights are under attack by the Radical Leftists who are in control of the Democratic Party. Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are both likeable, nice guys. The people that will follow them into power and will be installed in powerful positions are not. After all the crimes against the people of the United States and our Constitution, Democrats should never be allowed to hold public office again until the cancerous Radical Left has been excised from their Party. Based on our political climate as put forth above, it appears Trump still has value well beyond being a placeholder for a real President. Trump can push the edges of the status quo and do what is necessary to fully expose and bring to justice the Radical Leftists who are attacking our country and way of life. This is war, and although no guns are being used, should the Radical Left win, our rights and way of life will be affected similarly to a lost shooting war and signing the instrument of surrender. Of course, this assumes the Radical Left has not already won. If they got to Trump by threatening post Presidency prosecutions of his family, any further arguments are moot. If Trump is still available in the fight to save our country, he should initiate the appropiate investigations and stop giving up ground to our enemies. I will continue to support Trump in spite of his many “warts” because he still has the potential to turn away the Radical Leftist threat to our country. And that alone is sufficent justification to support our President. Edited for spelling.
Trump is in the White House. I put that one in the win column for the last two years, especially given the two SCOTUS appointments, so yeah, I'd say so.
That's a great post. I don't agree with all of it, but I will say that if Trump were to suddenly move into action and start actually draining the swamp and not just chanting it over and over again, I might change my opinion on him. Of course, Trump is always going to be Trump, and the delusions of grandeur that persist with his idea of the world won't let him actually plan strategically. Instead, every challenge has to be met like the enemies at the gates and such he will always be mired down in combat and controversy. Meanwhile, the problems in the country grow larger and more insurmountable by the day.
The parts of my post you disagree with are the most worthy of discussion, in my opinion. Especially given your long history of thoughful replies.
