I agree with Todd Harrison - Goldman Sachs might get a phone call in the next couple of days - or as early as tonight, and see if they want to buy LEH.
check out the price action now. the real question is are they going to pre-announce earnings after the close today or not? I imagine if its a positive surprise they would in order to shore up confidence. And this could result in massive short squeeze.
Know one wants this crap. Thats why it just broke $8.00 now trading for $7.90. Can't raise capital because the Fed or Paulson may swoop in over the weekend and take it over, for say 25 cents.
I'm wondering to what extent an "earnings" report for LEH matters. To me the more important question is asset sales and/or capital raising
how many days is the lag time between a management purchase or sale, and when it is reported to the public?
Who built this country, Dutch, Irish? I don't think there were too many Jewish folks. They have made great contributions to this country though.
