Crowdfunding platforms have traditionally been used by entrepreneurs and creatives eager to get financial backing for a new idea. But now some corporations are getting in on the fundraising as well. In addition to Lego, 10-year-old Indiegogo has worked with roughly 50 Fortune 500 companies, including Tyson Foods and Coca Cola. 2. Crowd funding for corporations? How STUPID is that?

Sure, good thing for corps... "if they can get it"... but who would be stupid enough to support and donate money?

@Scataphagos plenty of dumb money around. Have you seen what kind of faeces gets funded?

  4. Nowadays everyone wants to make money beyond his means. Crowdfunding platforms became a traditional base for entrepreneurs and creatives eager to get financial backing for a new idea. So, the world giants though they won't stay aside and they also decided to make money beyond what they have on their own established base of loyal customers.

To tell the truth, from the other side, crowdfunding is a lottery possibility to get real investments in your affair. There are many examples when great companies were started from 0 and achieved some enormous results when nothing was grown an entire empire. Honestly, I think this is very ugly and embarrassing except that it’s just unprofessional. And as a result, the young do not get the desired result due to a strong competitor. Would be better such companies themselves made some good contribution in young business to help them to develop.
