  2. Whether it's Buffet, a large well known fund manager, or a proven trader, knowing what they are buying or selling is virtually worthless unless you know WHY they are buying or selling.

Dunno. I'd rather know when he's buying or selling and be happy to ride his coattails.

Love him or hate him, he's done pretty damned well.

  5. Warren Old Idiot Buffet has been desperate to manipulate the market since he got himself in trouble by catching the knife on GE and GS.

On another occasion, he was telling everyone, via media, to buy US stocks but he was secretly dumping stocks.

The old idiot is crooked to the core, just like Madoff.

    Sure about that?

He's still underwater on GE, but his GS more than offsets that.

  8. I think ASusilovic is actually sharper than Buffet.

Buffet got lucky as he bought Coke and ice cream companies after WWII, when America offered an endless opportunity of profit and growth.

Let's see how the old man fares now, excepting cases like Goldman Sachs, where he got the government to bail out AIG so his boyz at Goldman could get windfall profits, at the expense of the taxpayer.

Buffet is a relic of a distant past.
