Give me a break. You've got a lot of lying, cheating, assholes at the top that have fucked over people their entire lives. Most have had advantages that others have not.

Anybody working 8 hours a day deserves to earn a decent living and to have a say so in government.

Didn't your parents teach you anything?

  3. Yes, they taught me personal responsibility for my life and that poverty sucks.

Now feel free to answer my question:

  4. People "deserve" what they earn for themselves. A PRIMARY factor in America's economic power was the development of a large and affluent middle class. But a prime FACTOR in that occurring was a lack of competition. Now there are 300-500 Million Chindians who are happy to work for $5 per day, and they are competing for our once well-paying jobs. Therefore, America's middle class, as we've known it WILL NEVER RETURN.. and we have to "adjust down to it". I know, that sucks. But it's reality.

As for "anybody having a say in government"... I'm not as convinced of that now as I was when younger. It's immoral and wrong that 50% of the population pays ZERO federal income tax, yet they can "vote" for the other tax-paying 50% to have their assets confiscated and paid to the have-nots. Just plain WRONG!

You won't find much sympathy from me for the "works hard, but still a have not" crowd. I once had a job as a janitor. Always thinking, "this job sucks.... I need to do something different and make some money". Pardon me if I'm also thinking, "If I could do it, anybody else should be able, too".

  5. Now you see that is just bone headed thinking with respect to our current unfettered federal govt.

  6. True, but it doesn't stop anyone else from earning more money in a better paying job or starting their own business.

  7. Great post(s). Disagree with your 3rd point though, anyone who pays federal taxes has the right to vote. Otherwise why should they bother?

  8. Come to think of it... and other than the 30-days leave all military personnel get per year....

    I NEVER...

    1. Got a "paid vacation"
    2. Got "benefits" of employer-paid health insurance
    3. Had money put into a retirement plan for me
    4. Got a paid "sick day"

I did, however, always pay BOTH the employee's AND Company's part of Social Security and Medicare taxes.

Yeah, that sucks... nobody ever "handed me anything". Didn't expect them to. Didn't ask them to.

  9. I think you should REALLY show your commitment and MOVE out of the country. You can go to some 3rd world nation where, like you, they believe that the wealthy are the ones worthy of participating in gov't.

Take Index Piker with you. He also has no sense of history, morality, or love for democracy.
