That really stunted her growth. However in her 20s now at university she seems to have got a handle on the emotional side of life. I've discussed it with her and she reckons that faking normal social reactions eventually becomes a subconscious competence and fairly indistinguishable from "born with" social behaviours. BT has many of the signs however he may polish up with good training.
