Completely agree. Except Kavanaugh was essentially ruined without being determined to be guilty, and if democrats had their way, no investigation of any credibility would have been done. All I'm noting is your eagerness to jump on Kavanaugh the moment an accusation was put forth (you have dozens of posts on this forum ready to burn the guy at the stake) and your similar zeal to instantly cast doubt on Avenatti's accusers without having any knowledge of the accusations, merely because the guy is a hero to the left. Ahhh no. Not like Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh had not been charged with any crime whatsoever by a law enforcement agency, and Avenatti has. That is true even if he is not guilty. Your ilk turned a confirmation hearing into a criminal trial with no charges having been filed such that he could defend himself.
What's hypocritical? All I did was ask for an investigation before he was confirmed, the stakes are too high not to. It'd be near impossible to oust the guy once confirmed and he could've done damage while at the bench already. You can choose to believe the FBI was thorough.... I'll wait on the house hearings once the FBI director is dragged in to confirm so. I'll believe the LAPD once formal charges are brought even if they're tweeting about how they arrested Avenatti

Oh, please. Are you this much in denial? Your posts were all tainted with indications that you believed Kavanaugh guilty. Even now, you're hinting that the FBI's investigation wasn't acceptable. Yet every post about Avenatti in this thread has you claiming skepticism without any knowledge of the incident at all. I should be clear, Avenatti should get a fair investigation and not be considered guilty just like Kavanaugh should have gotten. But he didn't, and mainly because Avenatti was pushing the accusations (false ones, as we've found out). Even so, I'm applying my standards equally and saying the guy should get a fair shake. You aren't.
