Yes, they are indeed. But I refuse, whether from panic or frustration, to fault the other dogs under the table for battling for scraps. That a school teacher may be getting 30% more than someone with similar education in the private sector is to me... nothing. 30% of nothing is nothing. Or to fault and punish pension holders, who worked and paid in for decades, because "they're getting more than me", well, that's the same envy Romney was talking about, just at a lower level--those people worked and saved, they played by the rules, they weren't moneylenders, why should they get screwed? Is everyone in this country getting poorer together? Human beings have an amazing capacity to suffer through rough spots together, but they absolutely suck when the suffering is not shared.
The Right's War on Science isn't helping much either, come to think of it. You really go digging for these isolated incidents, don't you? And, no, I'm not defending the school official.
Where is the grammar police when you ... oh wait...YOU ARE the grammar police. Can I make a grammar citizens arrest? LOL
alligator tears Tears that are fake, or are meant to deceive. Same as crocodile tears. I guess your pathetic life is all but over now. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=5e3_1286805999
That's it, double down. Okay, let's forget that you used a hack term rather than the real one. How does your reptile tears comment relate appropriately to me in the context of the Daily Show thread, where you first brought it up? As a liberal, why would I be shedding "fake tears" in connection with a story that was not favorable for liberals? Go ahead, explain it to me without embarrassing yourself.
