I should be able to left mouse my stops into the DOM, but it only enables me to use right mouse.

The Broker says it must be at my end but I dont know enough to fix the problem.
I am using a IBM Think Pad

    thanks

    Try rebooting.

    Try reinstalling the mouse driver.

Try the mouse on a different machine.

    Try reinstalling the trading software.

If none of those work, try an OS repair or reinstall. It's possible for the OS files which control the mouse to become corrupt.

  3. If you're using the built in buttons on the laptop you might try getting a regular external USB optical mouse. I find that's much easier to use than the buttons on a laptop, especially when trading.

It makes no difference between an opt mouse and the pad.

Gnome, thanks, i have tried everything other than your last suggestion.
How do i do a mouse repair

    thanks

It's not a "mouse repair", it's an Operating System Repair... Use the 'Repair' function which you encounter during a Windows XP fresh install. Or, if you have an "image" or clone of your setup, you could run that.

You might want to Google for detailed instructions.

  6. Dude there is like dozens of different DOM's out there. Did you specify which one or did I miss it?

If you are talking about BookTrader Left click is Limit right click is Stop.
