  1. Howdy Bud!

I didn't think anyone was watching? My chart this time was bit huge and the entries and comments weren't defined well.

Were you able to zoom in and see them?

I looked at your journal, and it seems we are a bit different, at least in picking entries?

If there is anything you'd like me to detail, or post a better explanation of on Friday, let me know, I like looking at charts and recapping my trading.

    Remember, I suck at trading!!!

  2. Maybe just put arrows on the chart where you entered an exited.

Then note in your post your reasons for entry/exit

Keep your trendlines and indicators, as that is good to see what you were looking at at the time

  3. So....two loosing days in a row. I haven't had this happen for a while now.

Today didn't feel right, couple that with me probably overtrading didn't add up to a good day.

But the good thing is, my loosers are small, and I have no anxiety cutting them short. So maybe this means instead of "blowing up my account," I'll "Paper Cut it" to death. My plan is to stay afloat long enough to get my bearings :)

Also, I think I am going to gauge my success by 'green' weeks. So my goal is to have consecutive 'green' weeks. SO my goal starting today is in jepordy. :(

    Anyways, on to the charts.

Posting two charts, one for the morning, 1 for the evening. I've labeled the trades on anchor and entry chart.

Obviously, there were some boneheaded plays, and some not so stupid.

The 'magic tick' would have kept me out of at least two looser today.

Also, I didn't use the 'marketEmotion' today, it is really good though.

If any of you are using the HH/HL study, the ones that plot the HH/HL/LL/LH etc.....I thought it was annoying, but turning the left/right setting from 3 to 10 makes it almost perfect! But I dont really use it anway, after a while spotting it's easy.

    QuoteTrader,
If you see this, it's another big picture. As always, shorts are red vertical lines, and green is the longs. Yellow is where I covered.

The picture is wide cause I stretch it across my monitor so i can capture more, but you can zoom in and see the detail.

    Here's the morning:

  6. Aaaaaaargh!!!

No trades on Tuesday, i called in sick

Ok, so it's been a while since I had two loosing days in a row. And this is the first time I've had 3 consecutive loosing days.

I think my problems are two fold right now.

    1) I'm making changes to my trading style on the fly. I'm obviously not at that level. I will iron this out shortly. Changing charts, taking profits....etc.

    2) I'm managing every trade differently. Sometimes I exit a trade based on getting a closing counter to my trade direction, sometimes I set a target based on a trend channel. I need some consistency.

I'm generally noticing that I have regressed in my level of patience as well. When I look back on the day, I can see that I have taken trades that I don't need to take. Patience was something that I had been getting better at over time, but now for some reason I'm loosing that.

So....If I am not green by week's end, I'm demoting myself to SIM for a month.

    Morning here:

  8. Finally!!!

Broken the 3 day loosing streak. Maybe it was the mellow music I listened to today instead of the talk radio?

I'll let the charts speak for themselves.
