Artist David Choe who painted the inside of the Facebook offices chose to be paid in FB stock rather than cash which is now worth over 200 million: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Choe While doing his work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AzEpY7H5Ac&feature=related
that's old news. the latest update is that this guy's stocks are worth over $500 mil. i just read it before hopping on this site. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/facebook-graffiti-artist-could-worth-220206017.html
Yeah, it is so old news that it was on Howard Stern radio THIS MORNING! Not to mention he never said 500 mill, he already sold some of it, the best guess for his worth is between 100-200 mill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtY4FjTiRUM&feature=youtu.be Sometimes you should read or watch your own links...
Even if he sold all of his FB stocks, that still does not change the fact that the stocks he was paid could be worth over $500 million today. He did say it, from my link above: "Mr. Choe said Facebook originally offered him $60,000 to paint murals in the company's Palo Alto offices in 2005. Today, he said, the stock he took instead could be worth more than $500 million."
It really doesn't matter what "already sold stocks could worth" today. If he sold some of them, he doeswn't have those shares anymore. But anyway, here are the top 7 Facebook shareholders. According to this, he got 3.77 million shares, and guessing an IPO price of $53, that is still just 200 mill: http://www.thedailybeast.com/galler...o-will-make-the-most-money-photos.slide6.html
