Sorry, I don't know. (I run 4 ATI cards... they're all singles.) Maybe you could ask canyonman00. He knows a lot.
I am glad you posted....this must be some kind of universal problem....I am not sure if it is card related, monitor, etc. This other kid I know, mostly gamer, bought an LCD........he was running three different cards from his machine......the LCD screen only worked on one of the cards....the other two gave a terrible pic output.....again, the fuzzy and unclear pic was very evident...this can really be a pain to look at literally, for more than 15 seconds............what gives on this???? so the tech support could get you nowhere......what video card were you running with which OS............................
The CRT was bad when I received it. Replaced it with a Sony Trinitron and put it on the same video card and it worked great. I've replicated the LCD not displaying properly (blank screen for minutes) on several machines / video cards. I still need to do due diligence in my testing of the fuzzy display on my other LCD. Right now it's on a Radeon VE, but the Sony Trinitron hooked up to the same card looks fine. Previously I had them all running on an Appian X4 without any problems. I remember someone posting that they used Viewsonics on a trading floor and their reliability was terrible. I'm starting to see the same thing with the ones I have.
re viewsonic's fuzziness -- wow!! I don't konw what to say. I thought it was just mine that crapped out. I can't believe that they would churn out such crap and still have the reputation they do. What is up with that? or is it simply a matter of time until reality catches up to their reputation?
Hopefully reality sinks in eventually. I think it's bull Sh** that I paid ~$800 each for 2 LCD monitors that crap out within a year. I'm going to the Buy.com web page to write a review right now
