I have an LCD monitor I use to watch my trading worksheet. I am noticing that the worksheet is starting to burn in. I pull up a web page now and then during the day, but I really have to watch the worksheet most of the time. Is there anything I can do to minimize or eliminate the burn in? Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't see these lines this morning, maybe it isn't burn in. Does anyone know what might be going on?

  3. The LCD adapts to the pattern it displays currently.
When you display an equal image over a long time,
the liquid micro crystals "get used" to it, however,
the effect is temporary. If you display an new image,
the crystals start adapting to the new image.

As far as i know, most modern LCDs are not affected
    by this.

Thanks for the reply. Your explanation seems to explain what is happening - I feel better now. Thanks again.
