So maybe you will short the S&P...how will you play the 'Fiscal Cliff' with EURUSD?

  1. Indeed.

I've lived through at least a half dozen of these "cataclysmic" fiscal events. In each case, the sun rose the next day, life continued on, and within months, if not weeks, the "cataclysmic" had morphed into the "already forgotten".

So, yes, it's a Yawn Level Event, just another paragraph in a long essay titled "More of the Same".

    Cheers.

The poll was a trick question (sort of a trick question).

I'm curious to know if the GOP gains ground in 2014. It is still two years away.

  4. Redistribution? Are you serious? It's called paying your bills. You spent the money, now pay up. Get real!

Redistribution of wealth in tough economic times isn't such a bad thing because not doing that would make things worse but unfortunately, when things improve -- they eventually will -- redistribution will remain intact. There's always going to be a percentage of the population who will have their hands out for what the government is offering.

i really like the comments under it. here is a good one from charlesr -

---What about the $11B you just authorized (by executive order last week) to raise salaries of Biden, Congress and federal workers? Ya think the American people are behind that Mr. Obama? What an outrage! Everybody, write congress and tell them to turn down the raise!--
