There are people on this thread who will say this posts disrespects the American soldiers who died for your freedom.
Different Trump and different sycophants. Trump found his team that will sit in the bunker until the end with him. The first term guys were seasoned professionals who bought into part of Trump's message. New group is just pure MAGA.
At the minimum he'll have the FBI, DOJ look into the financial records of the people I mentioned to see if any of them have more than one home and calling both homes their "primary residence". Yet, he will not look at the financial records of congressional members with dual citizenship for the United States and another country to see if they have a home in another country and filing their income tax correctly to see if they're paying taxes in the U.S. or in another country that has less taxes... Trump ignoring tax treaties that prevents double taxation the United States has with other countries. Democrats: THE US SENATE [13] Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) Barbara Boxer (D-CA) Benjamin Cardin (D-MD) Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) Al Franken (D-MN) Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) Joseph Lieberman (Independent-CT) Carl Levin (D-MI) Bernie Sanders (Independent-VT) Charles Schumer (D-NY) Ron Wyden (D-OR) Michael Bennet (D-CO) HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES [27] Gary Ackerman (D-NY) Shelley Berkley (D-NV) Howard Berman (D-CA) David Cicilline (D-RI) Stephen Cohen (D-TN) Susan Davis (D-CA) Ted Deutch (D-FL) Eliot Engel (D-NY) Bob Filner (D-CA) Barney Frank (D-MA) Jane Harman (D-CA) Steve Israel (D-NY) Sander Levin (D-MI) Nita Lowey (D-NY) Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) Jared Polis (D-CO) Steve Rothman (D-NJ) Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) Allyson Schwartz (D-PA) Adam Schiff (D-CA) Brad Sherman (D-CA) Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) Henry Waxman (D-CA) John Yarmuth (D-KY) A few names above have dropped off the list...its a little outdated. I won't mention the equal list of Republican congressional members because my ex-college roommate is on the list as a dual citizen with a home in another country (Canada)...sarcasm...they'll be mention later in another message post just to show I'm not bias although some are either dead or no longer in Congress I'm just poking fun at Trump for targeting Democrats for doing the same thing as other Republicans have been doing...still doing. Today, there are only about 18 congressional members with homes in the United States and abroad in other countries as a dual citizen. The list has shrunk considerably in comparison to the above outdated list but I wouldn't be surprised if they hold investments in other countries after selling their home in another country. wrbtrader
Did you really think the political pendulum wouldn't swing back? Every cycle the extremists get stronger, and revenge is the order of the day. It's too far gone to get better.
These idiots comparing what Bolton is possibly hiding vs what a former (and now current) President is allowed to take home and hoard for future books etc... is like comparing a psychotic serial killer to a jaywalker.
They also assume that the case is just about possession of classified documents. We don't know that. The referral or request for the raid seems to come from the CIA in relation to other activities that Bolton may- or may not- have been involved in. So it could be a matter of their looking for substantiation of his involvement in those activities rather than just whether he has some classified documents at home. We don't know. Only people like GWB and Freddy Foreskin know apparently because they are savants. Both of them would be lucky to be able to find two socks that match.
Yeah, the DOJ, FBI, etc. had no idea that this case would be heavily scrutinized. Heightened Practical and Procedural Considerations for a Public Political Figure While the legal standard is identical, in practice, obtaining a warrant for a high-profile public figure involves extreme caution and additional layers of scrutiny due to the potential for perceived political persecution. Anticipation of Challenges and Scrutiny: The prosecutors and agents drafting the affidavit know it will eventually be made public and challenged aggressively in court. Therefore, they must build a "bullet-proof" case within the four corners of the document. Every assertion must be backed by the strongest available evidence. Extraordinary Scrutiny of the Affidavit: The judge will examine the affidavit with an extremely critical eye. They will demand that the evidence of a crime is unassailable and unambiguous. The affidavit must be scrupulously free of political rhetoric or motivation. It must focus solely on facts and evidence of a specific federal or state crime. Any hint of a political motive could lead a judge to reject it for being in "bad faith." What the Judge Must See To grant the warrant, the judge must be convinced by the government's affidavit of three things: A Crime is Likely: There is probable cause to believe a specific, identifiable crime has been committed. Evidence is Likely on Site: There is probable cause to believe seizable evidence of that specific crime is currently located at the specific place to be searched. The Warrant is Precise: The warrant describes the place and the items to be seized with particularity.
