  1. Yeh, that's what the script says.

Could have different too if we had not been helping to fund and staff the lab, along with being the major funder of the WHO which participated in the cover-up.

    So there is that.

Things are good again though for China. The American team did not even dare mention covid to the Chinese in Anchorage.

Let me get this straight: you’re telling me that the criticism of removing experts on the ground, at the presumed epicenter of the pandemic - as this was part of removing the pandemic response team from the national security council - is part of a script and not a legitimate criticism. Do i have this right?

  3. Yes. Absolutely.

The presence of some Americans in the lab does not even come close to policing what the Chinese are doing. Same with the WHO. Lots and lots and lots of Americans in that organization and we are the major funder. Nevertheless those fuckers just worked around the Americans and left them clueless on the whole coverup and initial escape.

Not only that but I think the opposite is true. There is credible evidence that American funding and personnel there were supporting a lab that was a bad actor, had knowledge of the dirty business they do on a daily business and were okay with it because they had positions there. Maybe things got out of hand but they knew that the lab was dealing in very dicey viruses and enhancing them for reasons that suited China's purposes.

China admits its vaccines are next to worthless... yet they will still peddle them all over the globe.

China admits its vaccines aren't very good

Chinese vaccines “don’t have very high protection rates,” said the director of the China Centers for Disease Control.
    https://www.politico.com/news/2021/04/11/china-covid-vaccines-480802

BEIJING — In a rare admission of the weakness of Chinese coronavirus vaccines, the country’s top disease control official says their effectiveness is low and the government is considering mixing them to get a boost.

Chinese vaccines “don’t have very high protection rates,” said the director of the China Centers for Disease Control, Gao Fu, at a conference Saturday in the southwestern city of Chengdu.

Beijing has distributed hundreds of millions of doses abroad while trying to promote doubt about the effectiveness of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine made using the previously experimental messenger RNA, or mRNA, process.

“It’s now under formal consideration whether we should use different vaccines from different technical lines for the immunization process,” Gao said.

Officials at a news conference Sunday didn’t respond directly to questions about Gao’s comment or possible changes in official plans. But another CDC official said developers are working on mRNA-based vaccines.

Experts say mixing vaccines, or sequential immunization, might boost effectiveness. Researchers in Britain are studying a possible combination of Pfizer-BioNTech and the traditional AstraZeneca vaccine.

  5. Yeh, sorta funny. Not really though.

Funny to see how little luck they had in convincing some of us. Ditto for the Sputnick. In God we trust, everyone else, let's see the data.

The question becomes though, "what is Covax going to (or will continue to) use for its vaccines? Or are they going to lower their effectivity requirement threshold ......and should we be allowing American money to purchase those vaccines from Covid- we have already given them 4 bill for it. Well, there are many questions along that line. Also, are various countries going to issue vaccine passports to people who have had chinese or sputnick vaccines? Enquiring minds want to know.

China is one big bullshiiter. They say their covid rate is lower or did at one time but we have no idea. They say they have almost 14 vaccines in development and some great ones already on the market but they are probably all worth shiite. China and other countries will be bragging about vaccination rates at some point and maybe that is a good thing. Unless they were vaccinated with vaccines that are not worth shiite.

"Experts saying mixing vaccines might boost effectiveness." Duh, for what purpose would you mix? Just to make the Chinese vaccine look better? Two or three of the western world vaccines are fine all by themselves. You could mix them with sugar and then talk about how useful the sugar water combo is. NOT.

Also, there is the important point that disseminating vaccines that are only partially effective is dangerous because you are only weakening the virus but is enhancing it resistance to it and you keep getting stronger and stronger strains. This is why a doctor always tells the patient to not stop taking their antibiotic just because they are feeling better. It is because you need to either kill it off completely or else the remaining ones come back stronger, and yes, class I know antibiotics are not for virus, but the same principle is at play.

The Chinese Sinovac vaccine is barely effective against the original COVID, and next to worthless on the new variants being seen around the world.

The new Cuba Abdala vaccine will now also be produced in socialist paradise Venezuela.

Venezuela to produce Cuban COVID vaccine: Maduro
President Nicolas Maduro said the country has also secured all funds to acquire 11 million doses via the COVAX mechanism.
    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/4/12/venezuela-to-produce-cuban-covid-jabs-maduro

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro says the country has signed a deal to produce two million doses per month of a Cuban coronavirus vaccine, adding that his government also managed to secure funds to fully pay for COVID jabs via COVAX, a global sharing mechanism.

“We’ve signed an agreement to produce in our laboratories… two million vaccines a month of the Abdala vaccine… for August, September, approximately,” Maduro said on Sunday in a television address, referring to one the four vaccines that are being developed by Cuba.

The South American country will also take part in Phase 3 trials for the Abdala vaccine produced by its socialist ally.

Cuba has developed four jabs that are in various stages of clinical trials. The island nation has already started vaccinating its healthcare workers with two of its vaccines still in the third phase of clinical trials.

Abdala is being given to 124,000 health care workers, while 48,000 volunteers are taking part in a parallel phase-three clinical study. Should it be approved, Abdala would be the first COVID-19 vaccine entirely developed and produced in Latin America.

So far, Venezuela’s vaccine rollout has been sluggish, with 0.34 percent of the population having received at least one shot, trailing neighbouring countries such as Brazil and Colombia which have, respectively, vaccinated 7.57 and 3.88 percent of their residents, according to Our World in Data figures.

To date, the country received 250,000 Russian Sputnik V vaccine doses and half a million from China’s Sinopharm.

A further blow to the country’s inoculation effort was dealt by reports of a possible link between rare cases of blood clots and the AstraZeneca vaccine.

As a result, Venezuela announced in March that it will not authorise the use of the jab despite having reserved between 1.4 and 2.4 million doses. The reports of clots were confirmed last week by the European Union’s regulator which stressed, however, that the benefits of the vaccine still outweighs its risks.

Meanwhile, Maduro said the country has also managed to secure funds to acquire 11.3 million doses through the World Health Organization’s COVAX mechanism – a global platform aiming to deliver 2 billion shots to poorer countries by the end of the year.

The news came after the government claimed for months that sanctions imposed by the US prevented Venezuela from paying the $120m needed to obtain COVID-19 vaccines, but on Saturday it made the surprising announcement that $64m had been transferred to the Switzerland-based GAVI Vaccine Alliance.

“We have already secured the rest to make 100 percent of the (payment) to the COVAX system,” Maduro said in a televised speech. He said the government had been able to access funds that had been “kidnapped” by the US.

“At the right moment, we will reveal where the money came from,” he said, without elaborating.

Allies of opposition leader Juan Guaido, who is recognised by Washington as Venezuela’s legitimate president, for months negotiated with government officials to pay for COVAX vaccines with funds that had been frozen in the US.

The opposition said Saturday’s announcement was evidence that sanctions do not prevent Maduro’s government from paying for vaccines.

Officially, the country of 30 million has had 175,000 cases and some 1,700 deaths. Venezuelan scientists have attributed the relatively lower case numbers to gasoline shortages that limited mobility in the early months of the pandemic as well as swift lockdown measures.

But observer groups such as Human Rights Watch question such figure, which they say are likely vastly underestimated.

Ok. But that still doesn’t change we removed personnel from the presumed epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak. It’s not logical to say removing pandemic response officials was a good thing. If anything the criticism you should have is that the Trump administration did not beef up pandemic prevention.

As a note we have/had pandemic teams in hotspots all around the world to monitor and respond. Wuhan was a disaster we saw coming. Removing our people is indefensible unless your goal is to promote a political agenda. Then by all means argue having nobody on the ground was a good idea.

  9. I see. We are the largest funder of the WHO but it is run by China. What's wrong with that picture class?

"Monitoring hotspots around the world" is absolutely a primary, core, front and center responsibility of WHO. So we pay them once to do it, then we have to pony up and place our own people around the world to make that someone is doing it for real. What's wrong with that picture class?

Then when they bring the whole world to its knees, it is Trumps fault just as the chinese script requires you to regurgitate ad nauseam.

Look, China won the last election. I have conceded that. You keep spinning the theme that Trump dropped the ball and let them get away with this and that. Move on a bit and approach the topic by showing me what Biden is not letting them get away with if you want to show me how it should have been done. So far, the Americans had a disastrous meeting in Anchorage and no one had the gall to even mention covid. That is just a totally unmentionable topic with the Chinese, and most likely the Americans apologized to them backchannel for failing to monitor the Wuhan Lab. I am pretty sure that would work for you too.

Sorry buddy but this is all wrong.

We give the WHO $900 million for a two year budget cycle, that’s about $450 million a year.

No. The WHO does not monitor globally for pandemic outbreaks. It directs UN health programs (mostly) and gives health guidance. Most of its work is in Africa and South America.

We are on our own for pandemic monitoring and prevention.

As to China and Biden and the narrative you’re pushing, now that is a script. We will see how that goes.
