Obviously the only way the Republicans can win is through election fraud . If they do win we need to sue many, many times with no evidence . We must mobilize our forces and fight for Democracy.
Watch out for the Dominion Voting Systems machines. You know that kind that switches votes? Since, the Democrats got away with massive election fraud last November 3, 2020, I do not see them stopping now. That is the reality we face.
No, the Canadian way is count the votes and the winner takes power. You are missing my point. This board is loaded with Americans contesting the election ( still ) and that going to dozens of lawsuits is normal behavior when you lose. Canada has never had this kind of dynamic. Job numbers in today; Canada again overperforming on job recovery, US underperforming expectations, which may in fact indicate one of the ongoing costs of not controlling Covid enough.
The point is that Canada is dealing with Covid far better then the US is and every data point including job recovery confirms that. You can pretend the US approach to Covid is fine, and ignore the very real opportunity to learn from other countries are doing. I compare Canada to the US because on some very levels we are very similar countries, but our approach to social services and health care is quite different. As I've said many times, the USA is more efficient then Canada in business ( primarily because of risk taking, capital ) but we do social services and harmony better. The smart approach is to borrow the good parts from each other. Canada is in fact slowly doing this, which is why we see new trends like Toronto being the fastest growing IT center in NA.
You've told us over and over how Canada is dealing with COVID far better than the US. We get it. Honestly. Your opinion is noted. Like, many times. You can be assured we know where you stand. I think you believe this is a rather simple equation where you can say "Canada is better!" and be done with it, while I believe that the US is a far more complex system of STATE and LOCAL governments, not to mention 15 times the population, etc. Could the US do better? Of course it could. But this binary comparison of the US vs. Canada on anything is just silly. But, don't let me stop you making it.
Canada's system is just as complex as the US ( national, provincial, municipal ), and we are a ninth of the population. All comparisons are fair. Urban population is almost identical. Geographically diverse. Toronto could just as easily be anywhere in NE US conditions are near identical.
Just because you have the same setup doesn't mean it is as complex. And even if it IS complex, there are so many variables in the equation that some could be more complex, others less. The ones that are important could be weighted differently, and so on. Its a stupid comparison for anything other than your ego. But as I said, do whatever you want. Comparing Toronto to another city might be a much better comparison. Note I say "might", because it depends what you are comparing and what city you are comparing it to. If you're comparing Toronto to Miami and talking about vacation rentals, its a stupid comparison (as an example).
There is no ego in what I posted but there does seem to be a reluctance on your part to recognize Canada for that is actually is. What I am claiming is reality but I don't need to convince you your knowledge of Canada seems very limited.
