  1. Without China and other $5 a day worker countries that also don't worry about environmental/worker protection or other issues, we might actually have a lot more jobs

    My preference is that, all medical, worker's comp, environmental and other non-salary costs are removed from American companies, and instead, a surcharge is levied on all domestic and foreign goods.

    Then, at least foreign producers cannot compete by not worrying about reasonable costs.
