Looks like Fox is kicking ass once again. The one interesting show CNBC had, Kudlow&Cramer, they kicked off prime time and moved to 5PM. Who watches TV then? I haven't watched 5 minutes of CNBC at night since.
Maverick, why would you make this into a thread? Anyway, I am sure it must have something to do with the "liberal press" not being so "liberal". Is that your point? It seems like you somehow find personal reward in polls that affirm what you like to see. How many threads did you start in which the first post was about how GWB was a "shoe in" to be re-elected? Now he's trailing in the polls. Things change. He may be ahead again next week, or tomorrow. That's the way things work. I just don't understand why you seem to take some kind of personal gratification when polls seem to "prove" your side of whatever it is you believe in. Now Kerry is (at least temporarily) ahead of Bush in the latest polls. How come you haven't started a thread about that? Bottom line is what difference do polls make? FOX has a bigger share of the market. I watch FOX news myself the majority of the time. It is just better produced than CNN or MSNBC or CNBC at night (for example). Better talent, prettier female reporters, whatever. Besides, I want to know what is being said by the right. And I find it very interesting to see how they can put a conservative spin on virtually everything. You don't see the humor in their calling themselves "fair and balanced"? I think it's SUPPOSED to be funny. (I am sure you don't). I like Bill O' Reilly. Who, while "conservative" is still level-headed. He makes sense. He is not a cheerleader. He does not see in black and white. I don't even believe Rush Limbaugh sees in black and white. It's just his core audience that does. But I would bet anything that a FAR FAR greater percentage of what you would call "liberals" listen to Rush, than "conservatives" listen to ANY liberal commentator. Hell, probably all of them put together. There aren't that many on the radio now anyway. My favorite is Randi Rhodes, but as far as I know, she isn't even syndicated. I think (not sure) that she is just local in S.Florida. Just another example of why "conservatives" are conservative, and "liberals" are liberal. There are dictionary definitions of those words. Yes, Mav, I am sure there are many "conservatives" with open minds who don't see in black and white, and who do listen to "liberal" commentators and read "liberal" newspapers (like the NY Times lol). You even told us that you get most of your news from "liberal" sources. So you are a credit to your "Party". But you are exceptional! Peace, RS PS....Where's Pabst been? Is he honeymooning already? Give him my very best if you happen to talk to him. (I know you guys do speak occasionally). Hope he's OK....he hasn't posted in a while.
